E1 ! error message and defective in less than owning 2 weeks
a neighbor purchased this from another internet source and received it.
this arrived with some concerns and then bombed out altogether....
there is no way to fry at 350 degrees since you cannot program the
degrees on this cook top and you need to know if you choose to
cook at the numbered highest setting of 5, and are frying fried
chicken parts the unit will shut off before the chicken is done.
my neighbor said that she plugged it in and it worked for the first
3 times she used it to boil foods, but now it displays an E 1 error
message. only the power light came on but no other controls worked
at all.
she called the 800 support # which said on the instruction pamphlet do not
return to place purchased, but if problems arise, call the 800 phone
number for support. and they said the item evidently was defective
and advised her to return it.
she called them and listened to long prompts and...
