Defective Product Plus Horrible Customer Service
Ceramic cooking vessel arrived visibly defective. Two messages to customer service to avoid the 10 minute plus wait time generated no return call. On third call, rep told me that they would send a replacement without charging me shipping as a "one-time courtesy." A courtesy to make right a product that they sold defective, without even bothering to do a cursory visual inspection. Replacement will take two weeks to get here. Would only let me speak to one level up of a supervisor -- I will not hold my breath waiting for a return call from the next level up, nor am I likely to buy Hamilton-Beach again.
Great Crockpot
We actually purchased this for a friend after getting the same crockpot from credit card rewards program. We loved it so much we bought it for a friend.
