perfect for quick juicing jobs
The kitchaid citrus juicer does a great job. The top part has strong ridges that grab the fruit for quick and thorough juicing. With a few easy twists of the hand the orange or lime or lemon or grapefruit half is completely juiced, the pulp and seeds are caught by the seed catcher very well. it's too large to do the really small key limes, but everything else it does with ease. My hands are slightly arthritic, not bad but enough that I'd notice if this were difficult to use.
The bottom comes with measuring lines making it just perfect to pull out and quickly measure juice for a recipe, and there is nothing like a few glasses of freshly squeezed juice as a pick me up during the day.
I've had mine for several years and dump it in the top of the dishwasher and the plastic looks good, no chips or filming or any problems there. The spout makes it easy to pour and if you're looking for just a nice, easy to store (it leaves a small kitchen footprint, good for me...
Just what I needed! Nice and simple!
I just wish I could select the color. I got "red", which is more burgundy, but would prefer white. But the color does not affect the job! Great juicer!
