Exclusive Better Chef IM-268R Classic Red 9-liter Toaster Oven By BETTER CHEF

Worst toaster oven EVER
I brought this toaster oven to match the red decor of my kitchen. I noticed in the picture that there isn't a temperature setting dial. The only choices available are to turn on the top grill, bottom grill, or both. I didn't think that this would be an issue with trying to cook/warm up food so I brought it anyway. Turns out, temperature settings are actually more important than I thought. This oven has managed to burn or undercook everything I've put in there. If I use the bottom grill, the bottom of my food burns and leaves the top uncooked. Vice versa for when I turn just the top grill on. If I use both grills, I have to sit and monitor my food to make sure it doesn't burn all the way through because 5 minutes in that oven could mean no dinner for me. Do not buy this toaster oven.

Red Toaster Oven
Very satisfied with my new toaster oven. The colour is a true red and matches other red appliances in my kitchen.

There were a few functions of the toaster not found in the description or in the instructions.

1. There is a crumb tray, however, in order to clean it, you must turn the oven up side down and press on the knob which releases the tray.

2. If you just want to lightly toast a piece of bread, you must turn the dial all the way to the right, then turn back to the left, otherwise the oven stops on it's own and shuts off.

I was also a little disappointed that just hours after ordering, I went back on amazon to check something else and noticed that the same oven was selling for $5.00 less.

Have owned the oven for a few months now, have only used it for toasting, not baking. So far I am satisfied.

Little Big Toassteroven
This tidy little toasteroven has all the features that you want without all the unnecessary gadgetry. It broils, toasts, and bakes just like the old fashioned first toasterovens. You can change the rack up or down as you would with your full size oven. Toast easily with a bell for indicating the toast is at your preset level of darkness. All without sacrificing counter space. And finally, it is a perfect red.
