Nostalgia Electrics KCP100 Kettle Corn Maker

Horrible to clean
This is my first review on Amazon, but I really felt like I needed to provide my two cents because as of now there aren't a lot of reviews on this product.

I was really excited about the possibility of having kettle corn at home. In theory this is a good product, but the reality is that I wouldn't recommend it. The kettle corn tastes good, but the machine is impossible to clean! You have to get out a screwdriver to take it apart every time you want to clean it (which will be every time you use it, especially for kettle corn). I have very small hands (my wedding ring is a size 4) and I can get my hand in through the opening in the top, but it is really awkward to try and wash it that way, especially if you accidentally scorch a batch of kettle corn and need to really scrub it.

We have a stove-top popcorn popper with a hand crank to stir the popcorn as it pops on the stove. You can make the same type of delicious kettle corn using the stove top popper with the...

Worst product ever
Serving size small. Awful mess to clean. Tastes horrible. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Given as a gift going to the trash later today.

Like the Cornballer, except not funny.
Unless you have "Nostalgia" for a time when products would cause you grave bodily harm, I wouldn't suggest this travesty of an invention.

Produces charred somehow stale "kettle corn" after a troublingly laborious process that includes a dance made of winces from being splattered by hot oil and sugar. Seriously, WTF.

Anyways, while there's nothing quite so reminiscent of the good old times as breathing in toxic fumes and defying death, I'd suggest staying away from this particular contraption unless you want to be reminded of how very fragile life can be.
